A band or music artist that can't stick to one musical genre and produces a confusing catalogue because normies are used to everything sounding the same
Person 1: I just heard this album called "Sonshine State Of Mind".

Person 2: I've listened to that album, each song is almost a completely different genre. It's almost like they're Genre Fluid.

genrefluid 

A genrefluid person is someone who fluctuates between more than one preferred music genre, or between having a preferred genre and not having one. They do not stick to one preferred genre, or lack thereof, for their entire life.
Person 1: What kind of music do you like?
Person 2: Recently, I've been listening to pop, reggae and metal. I'm pretty genrefluid, to be honest.
