A term used to curse something when it doesn't go your way. For examply when playing a computer game, missing a bus or train, having traffic lights turn red as you approach.
The term originated in Alnwick, Northumberland (ENGLAND).
Commonly used by the folk of the Alnmouth Road Area.
Fuck Nuts and PaperCuts is an exclamation used by one who has just had something negative occur unto them.
It can be yelled or uttered under ones breath, both with roughly the same meaning of "I am not fond of what just happened to the point of incoherence and so I will utter a nonsensical phrase."
The phrase originated in the online gamingworld and was uttered randomly upon the death of a player. The player and his friend then sat in silence pondering upon this new exclamation for not only did it rhyme, it also combined a variety of strange things all in one.
It can also be shortened to simply "Fuck Nuts"
*player 1 is shot by player 2*
Player 1: Fuck nuts and papercuts! You got me!
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
