Friend Of Mara

"Friend of Mara" comes from the TV show "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power"

While it is used as a password to unlock certain holograms and such in the show, it is also slang for being a member of the queer community within the fandom.
Person: Hey are you a friend of mara?
Fan of SPOP: Yea, I'm Bi. You?

are you a friend of mara?

it’s used when a sapphic wants to know if you’re a lesbian/sapphic or not. it’s also a she ra reference.
sapphic: “are you a friend of mara?”
other: “ yes i am” ✨winkwink

a friend of mara

Queers (mostly lesbians) ask if you are a friend of mara when they want to know if you are queer as well.
Long time ago they used 'friends of Dorothy' but the crew-ra brought this back again:)
Lesbian: hey. I've been wondering if.. if you are a friend of mara..?
Pan: heck yes I am ;) are you?
Lesbian: definitely.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
