To draw attention to something. Often used in terms of a person blaming something else. Fairly self-explanatory.

There has been a lot of finger pointing, but no one has yet found the one true cause of cancer.

The act of using one's fingers to refer to another person's mother after said person says something that can be turned into a "your mom" joke. Often used in mixed company and/or in public where one doesn't want to offend anyone within earshot.

1)
Person 1: "This is an awesome fish taco!"
Person 2: <points fingers>

2)
Person 1: Can you give me a ride?
Person 2: I gave <points fingers> a ride!

Finger Pointing Queers

All of the faggot politicians who refused to take responsibility and who tried to deflect blame while the country turned to shit.
