'Femme House' (a nonprofit educational platform launched in
2019 by
LP Giobbi & Lauren "HerMixALot" Spaulding, which aims to create more opportunities for women,
gender-expansive, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ creatives in the music industry) is a brilliant term and title; a tongue-in-cheek passing thought: 'femmedm' feels 'more inclusive' of all genres represented by femme artists.

"I love femme house, but what about femme techno?"
"I dunno...it's all femmedm to me."
Mz Worthy, Baby Weight, and
Mary Droppinz are among famed and revered Femme-dm artists, showcasing their authenticity through
cutting-
edge creations of sound, space, and experience.
When partnering with other rising and established femmedm artists, we
must consider how we expand our collective mission for inclusivity and education. How can we give back to our own communities and inspire others to do the same?
