Translates directly (from norwegian) to field mattress. A field mattress is what is used when not back at base camp (when you're out camping in the woods etc.)... Feltmadrass is commonly used in the norwegian army as a replacement for army girls who have been sleeping around.

That girl there is a real "feltmadrass"...
