Expireship

The combination of the words expired/expiration and relationship. A relationship that is bound to expire, destined to expire, planned to expire, known it will end/expire, in other words, you know that the relationship will end whether it's because it's toxic or you have to part ways at a certain point/date in time. It can also be a relationship that has expired but is minimally maintained.
I am having a hard time coming to terms with fully understanding this is an expireship.

I've been in a couple of expireships -- they were fun until they weren't.

We are moving from each other and know that this is now an expireships.

A relationship agreed upon between two willing parties for a proscribed length of time.

Both parties will have full access to the other party, similar to a relationship for the length of time that was laid forth at commencement. I.E. Fake Dating, without the “fake”

I only needed him to be my boyfriend long enough to get through my brother's wedding without anyone questioning me about my love life. So we agreed to an expireship. We'd have all the benefits of a relationship, with an expiration date of two weeks from today.
