Elephant moment 

An otherwise flawless production's low point.

We’re a bit disappointed we couldn’t get Aspendos, but it’s closed and could have rained even if we’d forced it to open. To make up for this, the stage will be adorned with specially commissioned Mount Nemrut statues of ancient Anatolia. We can be fairly certain that this will look good, but even if it doesn’t, this would just be our “elephant moment.”

Elephant moment 

An incident that's hard to ignore but that those responsible want you ignore regardless.
