Eggball generally refers to Rugby Union, Rugby League, Australian Rules Football, American Football - basically any game where the ball behaves erratically due to its resemblance to an egg. Compare with roundball.

"Are you watching the eggball this weekend?"

"Fancy heading to the park to kick the eggball about a bit?"
