I AM EARTH BEAST

Definition: A powerful evolution of the BOSTOn Beast spirit, embodying an individual who builds their fight against injustice and corruption from the ground up — patient, immovable, and impossible to uproot. An earth beast doesn’t erupt; they take hold, growing through concrete and forcing life through every crack, creating foundations that can’t be broken no matter who tries to bury them. This mindset represents a fighter who doesn’t rush the battle, but rather plants deep and rises slow, turning barren ground into empire and maintaining unshakable strength throughout their struggle against systemic issues.

Like a BOSTOn Beast, an earth beast stands alone in their fight, but does so with a grounded, undeniable presence that holds firm when everything around it shakes. They possess a building determination that fuels their actions, decisions, and strategies in confronting corruption, especially in industries like cannabis where the earth beast turns stolen ground back into something that grows for the people it was taken from.

Origin: Evolved from the BOSTOn Beast concept, the earth beast idea was born from the realization that some fighters don’t just survive, they root - building from nothing and leaving behind foundations that outlast everyone who tried to push them out.
1. “I am earth beast,” Devon stated, as he quietly built a coalition of minority cannabis applicants over months, until the foundation was so strong the licensing board couldn’t ignore them.
2. “I am earth beast,” Renata declared, planting community gardens on the same vacant lots the city had abandoned, turning dead zones into proof of what equity could grow.
3. “I am earth beast,” Tobias affirmed, as he laid out years of documented records brick by brick, building a case against corrupt officials that no one could knock down.
4. “I am earth beast,” Imani proclaimed, growing her advocacy network through every barrier they put up, until her roots ran under every wall they built to keep her out.
5. “I am earth beast,” Cyrus asserted, transforming a forgotten neighborhood into a thriving Black-owned business corridor, creating something permanent where they expected nothing.
6. “I am earth beast,” Naomi stated, holding her ground through every attempt to push her out, knowing that what she’d planted was already too deep to remove.
A trip to a grocery store, convenience store, or gas station for the sole purpose of buying an excessive amount of junk food and sugary drinks, usually with friends. A chud run often happens late at night and ends with everyone involved hating themselves afterwards.

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.
