Dumbragging
The act of admitting you are dumb in an attempt to be funny that, even when successful, still establishes that you are dumb. The utterer relishes in the fact that his behaviors and/or beliefs are deliberately simplistic, in an attempt to escape any form of reflection or growth.
A: Why did you buy the new iPhone?
B: Man I love Apple, I'll buy anything they put out without a second thought, even actual apples.
A: Dumbragging there, man. Dumbragging.
A: Did you watch the presidential debate last night?
B: Lol no, I don't have the attention span to listen to that people
A: You know who to vote for?
B: Course I do!
