A shorthand term commonly used for the NBA franchise the Golden State Warriors. The name originated in the late 1990's and progressively became more popular as the fan base grew and became younger. It was originally coined due to the "W" in Warriors being pronounced as dub-a-you and it was shortened to simply dub for easier pronunciation.

An expression for a rather pointless number generator often seen on 4Chan and Funnyjunk. A random number is rolled (*roll 2*, etc) between 00 and 99. If someone was to roll 66 for example, the comment is thumbed up ridiculously high. If they're unlucky and roll lets say, 65, they're showered with negative thumbs until their account is banned.
Often accompanied by a picture of Christian Bale pointing at the roll (or something similar).

Short for 'dubplates', a type of record used originally by dj's and producers of Jamaican music. They're softer than normal vinyl discs and don't last as long before the needle wears them out. The idea is to 'test' a track on the dancefloor using cheaply made dubplates, before having a more expensive vinyl press of the record made. Now used by producers of hip-hop, garage, drum'n'bass, trance, house, basically any kind of electronic music that people want to dance to, and craved by geeky DJ wannabes of said genres, to impress their eqally geeky non-DJ friends.

Slang for 20", 22", 24", & 26" common-size rims. 20"-22" rims most preferred on full size cars, mainly "ghetto-beaters" or a low-budget vehicle with wheel modifications. These are commonly older luxury vehicles consisting of 1980's-1990's Era Oldsmobile Delta 88's, Cadillac DeVilles, Chevrolet Impalas, and many more models. As for 22" and above rims are the higher class, more expensive source of style. Most of these styles are preferred on a Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, or any other kind of luxury sports utility vehicle. A newer style of rims, "Spinners", commonly called are large upper-scale rims with a ball bearing type of action, with what appears to be another fascia attachment. It uses very little friction and are usually manufactured with near-perfect balance. These use centrifugal force to continue spinning, even after braking to a complete stop. This may be attractive to many urban crowds.
