Doing the 180

A phrase used to describe the typical 3 hours that people spend commuting from the suburbs to work or school in a big city. 90 minutes down, 90 minutes back. 180.
John: Man, I moved back with my parents for grad school.
Brad: Dude, you're not commuting are you!?
John: Yup. Doing the 180.
Brad: That SUCKS, man.
