"dude period"
Men who use this term unironically are part of the sassy man apocalypse
Videos often mentioning deriods are often accompanied by recreating clips of American rapper Saucy Santana, the singer of the viral "Material Gworl" song.
The term gained popularity after a TikTok user @abdoulupnext posted a video in March 2025 jokingly claiming that "guys also have periods during certain times of the month," with the caption referencing someone being on their “dihriod” (a variation of “deriod” using the slang "dih").

That time of the month for dudes. Infinitley worse than periods. Usually accompanied with excessive sperm cramps, resulting in extreme mood swings and diarrhea.
Dude 1: "Bro, why are you in such a bad mood?"
Dude 2: "Sorry bro, I'm on my deriod."
Dude 1: "Ah fs bro, I hate deriods."

noun (April 2025) - It is the male equivalent to 'period' used in connection with putting emphasis at the end of a statement, thought, idea or any other conversational piece. In other words, saying 'period' at the end of a sentence is the same as saying 'deriod'. However the difference is that 'deriod' is more masculine directive, and 'period' is more female directive, since females like to use the word 'period' in their sentence.
Male speaking: "I know you trying to clock me out, but remember, I have sexy eyebrows given to me at birth that you have to draw yourself everyday. DERIOD."
Male speaking: "Man you see that man over there. He will beat you to a pulp. Deriod."
