De-Technomorphization

The act of removing the defining qualities, at least in concept, from a piece of technology and rendering that object available for reattribution into available and existent definitions. It is not synonymous with traditional anthropomorphism, which is additive in nature.
Megan proceeded with the de-technomorphization of Joe's computer, in an attempt to subsequently anthropomorphize it and make it behave.
