D'Affner

A unique person, just as unique as her name. Someone who is without a doubt the most bestest friend you could have. Smart, beautiful and has such a big heart. While seeming like an extrovert, this traveling introvert only reveals her true self to those she trusts. Confident and talented, D'Affner is someone who will always be there when you need her and in every way. She is funny, honest and can bring and match any sass game a person brings. If you are looking for a special person in your life who is up for an adventure - even last minute- as much as a game night with a few people, D'Affner is your girl.
"Hey, who is that person with the cool, red handbag?" "Oh, that's my great friend D'Affner! She's the best!"

D'Affner

She has the biggest heart, and is a true and loyal friend. One of a kind, just like her name. Sweet and sassy, and all around classy. Rolls her eyes as often as she laughs, which is loud, contagious, and often. She travels and seeks adventure with passion. And the girl can cook!
D'Affner is my best friend and queen of candles.

To meet a person with this name is to find something that you were not looking for but that is worth more for the fact of being like this. She is strong, warrior, brave, she is not afraid to answer to the devil himself, however, if you know how to get to her heart, she will love you as it is no longer done in these times, something similar to what someone said would identify the love of someone like her:

"One life is not enough to love you as I do, I vow to do so in this and other lives."
Daffner, as well as the uncommonness of his/her name, people like him/her are uncommon.

girl grip

The ability girls and women have developed to hold several items at once in one hand. The skill has been developed due to the lack of pockets in women's clothing.
I thought she'd need multiple trips to carry her phone, keys, wallet, and Starbucks to her car since she needed the other hand to open the door, but she used her impressive girl grip to carry everything in one hand.

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"
