Cybertraumatology is a studying field that studies traumas and psychological damage and injuries caused by internet, cybertraumatology also seeks to help people who have suffered traumas online, mainly social and psychological ones and provide studies about the origin, causes and consequences of traumas online, also known as cybertraumas.

"Cybertraumatology is the branch of cyberpsychology that studies the traumas caused by internet and help people who have been victims of traumas online, mainly the ones caused by trolls, larpers, flipfloppers, normies and other internet groups in general."

Cybertraumatology is the study of cybertraumas and their influences over people and over real life as well. Cybertraumatology is considered as a branch of cyberpsychology only focused on cybertraumas.
