Cornelius Yap 

A slang used by Singaporean teens which is thrown at classmates to mock their fathers who fit in the stereotype of a drunkard Property Agent in his late 40s preferably with tattoos. Slang came into popularity in 2019 in schools.
Person 1: Dude your dad is such a Cornelius Yap
Person 2: Fuck off I know my dad sounds like a faggot and drinks but please stop with the slander 😭.

Cornelius Yap 

A term used to describe a businessman in his late 40s in Singapore. The person usually has kids, tattoos, a drinking addiction, has a funny voice and wears rectangular glasses. This term came into popularity around 2019 where teenagers from schools threw this term at students fathers who for the description.

Person 2: oh most definitely his drinking addiction keeps me up all night

church hurt 

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
