Comfort Tofu

When a food/item is so strange or so good that it transcends the original "comfort food" to become "comfort tofu". Used as a noun, however, it can also be used as an adjective to describe something or someone as so strange that it/they are perfect.

"My mom's country-based mac and cheese coleslaw is my comfort tofu." "You know, I think you are my favorite type of comfort tofu." "She feels like comfort tofu, you know?" "I need some of my comfort tofu for the road, I can't leave home without it." "The handknit blanket I have had since I was a baby with the hamburger on it is my comfort tofu"
