Someone who puts their squad above everything else and cares beyond their control. They are wisdom. They are knowledgeable. They are skillful. They may be sweet but harsh when necessary. The TRUE cheer coach is rarity and very difficult to find.

They can teach you new skills and tricks but also teach you life long lessons that stay with you long after college or school.

If treated fairly and appropriately, this rare find will be just what your sport needs but handled improperly, you may find yourselves in the midst of Karma.

Coach Smith may be harsh cheer coach at times but he really taught me to respect myself, not only as an athlete but also as a human being.
