Chaunapos

(noun) A modern political mindset combining chauvinistic nationalism, authoritarian populism, and systemic mistrust of democratic institutions.
Chaunapos followers glorify a mythical past, reject pluralism, and demand blind loyalty to a charismatic "savior" figure. It’s not classic fascism — but it's not far off either.

The term blends Chauvinism, Nationalism, and Populism, describing an increasingly global trend in which truth, science, and basic democratic norms are discarded in favor of emotional tribalism, conspiracy narratives, and culture war politics.
“When he said the election was rigged, praised the flag, and called journalists enemies of the people — that was peak Chaunapos.”
