1) Blackino was the name of a famous cat owned by G. Craig Hobbs. Blackino was derived from the word "blacky" and the word "no" and resulted from the youthful indiscretions of a young cat named "blacky" whose name morphed into the affectionate, and Italian-inflected "blackino".
