Black Hebrew Israelitism

A belief system and movement that combines elements of Judaism and Christianity while rejecting rabbinical authority and, in some groups, denying the role of Jesus in Christianity. It is often rooted in the conviction that its adherents are the true Israelites — the chosen people of an all-knowing, powerful God.
Some groups within Black Hebrew Israelitism emphasize strict biblical law while distancing themselves from mainstream Judaism and Christianity
