-The odd man out, referencing the game series Gauntlet and an old add stating, "Four players, one has to be the valkyrie."
-To take what no one wants.

*Three friends play zombie shooter*
Player 1"I will take this well-lit, easy to barricade kitchen."
Player 2"I will take this well-lit, easy to defend hut."
Player 1"Looks like Player 3 will have to be the valkyrie and take the poorly-lit, multi-roomed, basement with a ton of corners for anything to hide behind and tunnels leading to who knows where."
