The term "Ackleymated" can also be used "in reverse" --- i.e., to mean someone named Ackley's becoming used to a difficult set of circumstances. A prime example would be when the great Carl A. --- the "father of modern taxidermy" --- had to take a while to be able to withstand the awful stench of rotting flesh when he "stuffed 'n' mounted" the famous Jumbo's carcass after said giant pachyderm was accidentally struck and killed by a train.
