#shepherds maze

#shepherds maze is a crazy game that makes people go crazy when they play it. The idea comes from a blind man who took LSD every day for 40 years and kept a journal about what he experienced. He was homeless and thought up the game in a dream. Players claim that it is addictive and life changing and that they can’t live without it, they are obsessed with solving the last steps of the maze. Since 2006 only 8 players have made it to the last stage but only 3 have solved it and all 3 of those players moved to different countries and changed their names immediately after. #shepherds maze is one of the most mysterious things on the deep web.
Jared, did you know that Tim just solved #shepherds maze right before he moved to New Zealand? He divorced his wife and sold his house and moved, his wife says it has something to do with the maze...

#shepherds maze

#Shepherds maze is An extremely secretive online & real world game that prides itself on being undiscoverable. Basically fight club “the first rule of fight club is you do not talk about fight club”, but mostly online and sometimes linked to mysterious conspiracy theories and government scandals. It seems that some advanced players include government personnel and that highly guarded secrets are often leaked within the game, in exchange for other secrets that can advance the player within “the maze”
#shepherds maze is a lifelong commitment. Players never use the hashtag, it’s taboo in the community.

My uncle is a major in the army and he found out some crazy stuff just by playing shepherds maze.

Shepherds maze

Shepherds maze (sheps maze) is a highly secretive but allegedly exciting online alternate reality game in which players can join by invitation only and is loosely based on a bizarre journal found to have belonged to a paranoid schizophrenic in GA. Aspects of the game are taken directly from the journal in a way that re-enacts scenarios described within. Snapshots of the journal have been seen on Imgur and reddit under fake/ghost/newly created usernames but are usually deleted before anyone has had a chance to save them.
Dude I’ve been playing shepherds maze for a month and it’s so much better than any other ARG I’ve ever played.

Did you see that last snapshot of Shepherds journal? I wonder if there’s any clues that will be in the maze?!

shepherds maze

An online and alternate reality/ augmented reality “puzzle” spanning several countries over the last 6 years. Players claim to be given orders to complete small tasks and are provided with “keys” in exchange. Shepherds maze is almost definitely tied to falkens maze, another, more exclusive game with less than 100 players in North America that often travel and meet in person to obtain keys and perform tasks.
Ignore that YouTube link, it’s probably someone just playing shepherds maze.

I heard that if you complete the maze they will pay you to moderate new players.
A trip to a grocery store, convenience store, or gas station for the sole purpose of buying an excessive amount of junk food and sugary drinks, usually with friends. A chud run often happens late at night and ends with everyone involved hating themselves afterwards.

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.
