Popping shit

Popping shit is a term that means to talk shit about another person or start a fight with them. This term first came around in 1995 era hip hop, way before the notion of "scene kids" was even dreamt of.

Since "Popping shit" originated with mid 90s hiphop, it's perfectly acceptable to say it in public and even makes the person using the term seem more well-read than the average bear.
"Are you popping shit with me? Are you popping shit with ME? Nobody pops shit with me, bwoy. Nobody POPS SHIT with ME!"

(*Frightened, bewildered detractor inches away, and puts his gun down...just before shitting his pants.*)

iggy pop

American singer, famous as the frontman of The Stooges and as a solo artist, who has been recording since 1967. Many consider him the Father of Punk Rock. I must say he is pretty damn good.
Great tracks include 'Lust for Life', 'The Passenger', 'Search and Destroy', 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' and loads more.

pop music

A publicly accepted form of techno, (meaning that the music is composed using ELECTRONIC SEQUENCING SOFTWARE). The only thing that makes people think it's not techno is because pop music uses vocals as the main part of the song. Unfortunately, pop music sucks shit because whatever the "singers" are saying has already been said 5 million times before by previously manufactured talentless scumbags.
There has never been a more vile abomination to the music industry than the scourge of pop music, all of which is supported by the Record industry Asswipes of America, or RIAA.

sub pop

Sub Pop Records is a well respected indie music label label. It has a great roster of well knowns and unknowns like The Shins, The Postal Service, Iron & Wine, and Hot Hot Heat. Originated in 1979 when Bruce Pavitt started a fanzine for indie rock called Subterranean Pop. A mix tape LP thing with indie rockers from around the country was made and long story short, Sub Pop Records forms.

Disney Pop

Disney Pop is used to describe any musical act/artist to become popular due to the Disney Channel. This act of becoming popular is usually due to some show or movie.
Some examples of Disney Pop are Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, and High School Musical, just to name a few.

P.S.- This music is complete crap.
Guy 1- Hey, have you heard that new Jonas Brothers song?
Guy 2- Goodness, not that crappy Disney Pop? That stuff sucks!
