out of the random

This is a phrase commonly used to describe something said during a conversation that can't be logically linked to anything that's already been said. It's a combo of "random" and "out of the blue" or "out of left field."

Sam: Xbox is pretty much the best thing ever invented!
Jake: You know what sucks? Getting acne on your ears.
Sam: Whoa. That was out of the random.

1) A person who does very random things either for a dare or of their own accord.

OR

2) A person who is "just there" ie doing nothing in particular.

1) Girl screaming toad repeteadly at a fat old woman who happens to be a swimming teacher.

2) Normal person: look at that guy over there he has been stood there for 3hrs. I wonder why???

Random Rocket

Thumb holds down middle and index finger while pinky finger and ring finger remain in upward position. Shoot upward while making rocket sounds. Looks like OK sign, but extremely different. Can be used when random events occur. If Random Rocket is not appropriate, just rocket noises are an appropriate substitute.

Turkey runs into supermarket, causing havoc.
