He is the son of legendary Denver Broncos wide receiver Ed McCaffrey, and has three other brothers, all of which play football. His oldest younger brother Christian, is currently a running back for the Carolina Panthers. His middle younger brother Dylan, plays quarterback for the University of Michigan. His youngest brother is still in highschool and has committed to the University of Nebraska.
