Get the michael scalesmug. When you suffer from MDD (depression), some days are better than others. You may feel fine one day, but the next day you'll feel like you want to die.
The following is a "scale" of how a depressed person's days can go. To make this less confusing, the person will be referred to as "Bob."

The Depression Scale
LEVEL ZERO: Good days
Bob exhibits absolutely no symptoms of depression, and may even appear quite happy.
LEVEL ONE: Standard days
Bob will appear fine on the outside, but on the inside he feels gloomy and disinterested. Don't expect him to tell you about it, though.
LEVEL TWO: Bad days
Things haven't been going well for Bob. Unlike level one where he just feels down, level two depression is where he actually has a reason to feel the way they does. He will most likely want to be alone, and will deflect all forms of conversation.
LEVEL THREE: Mental Breakdown
Bob has had an absolutely awful day and cannot suppress how he feels any longer. He'll tell just about anyone who's willing to lend an ear, and will probably start sobbing halfway through.
LEVEL FOUR: Self-harm
Bob feels so numb inside, he has resorted to physically hurting himself in order to feel something, anything. He doesn't care how dangerous it is for his health; he stopped caring about himself a long time ago.
LEVEL FIVE: Ending it all
Bob is done. He's been pushed around and bullied enough by the universe, and has decided that the only option left is to take his own life.

Get the Depression Scalemug. Cavernous Openings and Bottomless Buttholes is the scale used to measure the largest of sphincters. It is the named the COBBS scale after the largest anus ever found. It is the top end of the scale. The small side of the scale is Klosed Coccyx and goes up. The measurement starts when the subject starts to leave stainZ in their underwear.

Get the COBBS scalemug. The jam scale is a method by which a song's quality may be determined subjectively, and ranges from 0-10. A song's jam rating is determined by several factors which themselves range from 0-10, and are averaged to achieve the final jam rating:
1. Verbal approval of the jam from the sample listening party.
2. Physical response to the jam (i.e. headbanging, toe-tapping, dancing, singing along, etc.)
3. Memorability/recognizability of the jam.
4. Broadness of the jam's appeal (e.g. a classical music fan headbanging to death metal).
5. The frequency of these responses based on repeated listening. A jam's rating may not be high at first, but may increase upon repeated exposure.
Due to the subjective nature of the jam scale, ratings can vary wildly from different sample groups. It is not recommended to pollute your own data with another group's, nor theirs with yours.

Get the Biccy scalemug. The scale which defines women on a scale. However, its almost always used incorrectly. The common use is to rate her with 1 number, 1-10. Therefore a 6 is nearly a 7, a 9 is nearly a 10, etc. In reality, she ia supposed to be grades twice, of not more! The PROPER scale grades her once from the neck up, and again from the neck down, then mutiply the 2 numbers...so actual reading is from 1 to 100!! And women with 2 9s is much further above 2 8s! You can get an ever better yet more complicate scale using 3 ratings.
I was with a couple 40s on the 1-10 female attractiveness scale last night! Unfortunately, both were 10s for bodies...so you pretty much wanna put bags on their heads! Awsome. But ughh!
