The Sideways Talker's oblective is to have thier target to hear and react. Once the target reacts the Sideways Talker plays the victim and acts as though the target has issues

Expression originates from reference to accepting a counterfeit 100 dollar bill, although the tie-in is kind of inexplicable. Which somehow adds to the amusement, regardless.
