The term "Ray Guy" is used to describe a unattractive man that is dating, married, hooking up, or otherwise attached to a much more attractive female. This term comes from a kicker in the National Football League, Ray Guy, who would punt the ball so far downfield that he has effectively outkicked his coverage. Some might consider being called a "Ray Guy" to be an insult while others wear their "ray guy" with pride.

Get the Stoner Guymug. A guy who will only hang out with you at night. His main goals are to drink, party, and get laid. He doesn't care about anyones feelings accept his own. He is only seen out late at night and, whenever he is seen, is usually drunk high or both.

Get the Vampire Guymug. 
A guy who is cool and fun, but not hot enough. You get to know him and become friends with him. This friendship will then lead you to get introduced to his cool buddies and at least one or two of them might be hot.
I met this awesome guy. We really hit it off and I love hanging out with him, but I am not attracted to him. Yet, I am sure he has some cool friends and some of them are bound to be hot. He is totally my gateway guy!
