Speed Bump

You're hitting on the real knockout of a babe in a bar, and as always there this one person (speed bump) that gets in your way to cockblock.

I probably could have picked up this babe but she was with her girlfriend usually the overweight or not too cute chick with her (can be a boyfriend as well) and each time I put on the gas I had her speed bump in the way.

A strong high/low combination of a 2 serving or more energy drink (Red Bull, Rockstar, Monster, etc.) and prescription painkiller or other strong downer (most commonly Vicodin or comparable). Produces a very strong "Trip" or "High" that can last several hours until an equally strong crash or "Low" as the caffiene

speed bump girlfriend/ boyfriend

(n.) A short-term girlfriend or boyfriend; often acquired because the two just want a girlfriend or boyfriend, not because the two actually have a connection; speed bump partners are often teenagers (maybe as young as 13 years of age); a speed bump partner may be acquired just for shock value, e.g. to impress someone; a speed bump partner may also be acquired because he or she has something attractive to another person that should matter minimally in a relationship, e.g. a lot of money.

The term "speed bump girlfriend" or "speed bump boyfriend" gets its name from the idea that he or she works somewhat like a speed bump: it needs to be passed and will come and go quickly.

Speaker 1: Tommy just got his first girlfriend.

Speaker 2: And Tommy is how old...?

Speaker 1: 13.

Speaker 2: She is probably just a speed bump girlfriend.

10 speed

road bicycle. back in the day there didn't used to be mountain bicycles, road bicycles, fixies, 'bents no sir. There was just a bicycle. If you watch "Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure" you'll see what is typical for a bicycle decades ago. Now there were some people who had a fancy bicycle that they raced with and we called it a "10 speed" bicycle because it had so many gears. These were road bicycles.

"Are you going to a race or just K-Mart on your fancy new 10 speed?"

Speed Gordon

Speed Gordon is a fictitious man used as something to emphasise the incredulousness of a circumstance.

e.g to a person who has a lot of shoes, you would say "geez, you've got more shoes than Speed Gordon!" therefore, it is assumed that Speed Gordon has many many pairs of shoes, but you - amazingly - have more.

e.g when a person smells quite badly, one might say "Jeff smells worse than Speed Gordon!" again, it is assumed that Speed Gordon's odour is extremely offensive, but Jeff smells worse.
