"loose gasket" smooch

Refers to an initially "intact" lip-lock dat gets "popped" when one of da kissers releases a bubble of air dat "breaks da seal" between da face-suckers' lips. A harmless way to "slow things down" a bit if you sense dat said making-out session is becoming too "hot 'n' heavy".

Giving someone a "loose gasket" smooch can be a handy maneuver if you fear dat da other person is getting too "revved up" and thus is likely to want to "proceed to fourth base" too soon. A wise move if either you're not in da mood to spread yer legs or you don't have any condoms handy.

Any significantly long or significantly intoxicated night on drugs and/or alchohol shared amongst more than one participant. Loose-offs typically involve all or a majority of participants acting loose as per most standard definitions (including intoxication and debauchery). In Firehouse Hotel nomenclature the loose-off requires or results in participants being belted Loose-off is related to the US sporting term "Playoff" and can be understood as a Playoff (or Grand Final) of Looseness. Usually the title is conferred after the event. Eager (and brave) participants can establish a night out on the basis that it will become a loose-off

loose captain

A phrase commonly used in Philadelphia, meaning that the person’s mental faculties are basically not working normally because of either a drug/narcotics problem or serious mania of schizophrenia, bipolar, or BPD. In this phrase essentially, the captain is a metaphor for the person’s mind and loose means they have basically lost it.

“you see that fellow, Matthew?”
“yes, something does not seem normal”
“Exactly, he has lost his mind. His mind is a loose captain . He has been like that for a while.”
