1. The general and perpetual feeling of irreversible demise and misery that comes with the heart aching and thankless truth of being an Everton fan.

2. (a) The bitter frustration felt by Everton fans after being defeated again

(b) The bitter frustration felt by Everton fans after being defeated by Liverpool again.

3. The feeling that disappointed Everton fans feel when they think about that dusty little trophy cabinet at Goodison Park.

4. (a) The anguish felt by Evertonians when an other cup run amounts to nothing

(b) The anguish of Evertonians when an other year season ends with sound of "beep beep beep beep beep beep" as the Everton tour bus reverses back into the garage.

(c) the yearning of Everton fans to get into the Champions League for once.

worst day ever syndrome

A day that starts out bad and continues to spiral downwards into a totally worthless day.

"This morning I overslept, then missed the subway by a second, tripped on the door step, got caught coming in late by the boss, accidentally removed an important file, got yelled at on the phone for over half an hour, had to skip lunch and then a bus splashed water all over my suede sneakers."

"Shit! You totally got the worst day ever syndrome going on!"

In 99% of the cases you'll hear or read these words it's just hyperbole. The use of them can be attributed to:

a) fan rage;

b) 'cool' behaviour by virtue of being anonymous on the internet;

c) trollish behaviour (just wanting to stir up things);

d) Cries for attention by making bold statements.

a) "Ha ha, that Iron Man film really was the worst superhero movie ever man. so pathetic. You'll never beat TDK!"

b) "Seriously, you'd do Evangeline Lily? Wow...just wow. You've got the worst taste ever dude. I know tons of other chicks who are hotter than her."

c) "Hey aren't you a Lebron fan? Good god, he truly is the worst ever. He's never going to win a championship!"

d) - "Hmm, SNL wasn't that funny last night....

- " I know right? Worst episode I've ever seen!"
