Religious pollution happens when a society or culture gets overburned by religious ideas and becomes difficult to function properly because of it.

Religious pollution is rampant in countries like India.

The reason some people are not losers. The reason some people are not hateful little "find a scientific explanation for everything" atheists. The reason there are nice people in the world. People who didn't let some messed-up experience in their life make them think that religion was a lie or something STUPID like that. People who don't think that they are the highest most mighty beings in the universe, people who accept that there is actually someone out there BETTER than them.

Non-religious 2nd Grader: I don't have to share my cookie with you because there's no one watching to make sure I'm good and the bad things I do will never come back to me. I don't follow silly religion rules about actually being a good person instead of a buttface.

Spiritual but not Religious

An ignorant and safe phrase for someone who doesn’t want to be pigeon-holed into a religion but doesn’t have the mental fortitude to admit or come to the conclusion that they either don’t know if there is and/or don’t believe there is a god or religion is wrong. (Agnosticism and Atheism, respectively).

Amy’s friend is Christian and while she doesn’t believe in the crack pot theories the Bible teaches like homosexuals should be stoned to death or a dude rose from the dead like a zombie, she either doesn’t want to confront her friend for fear of loss (and what a loss that would be), or she just doesn’t want to argue against it, passively condoning her behavior by stating, “you know, I’m just like spiritual but not religious. Also, I know you don’t believe in sex until marriage, but we can totally get ass-blasted by Darren tonight!”

Religiot

An insulting but non-generalizing word used in specific instances to describe a person that is an idiot and religious.

The word is sometimes used by athiots.

Specific instances include:
1) If you aren't an idiot and/or not religious then the term does not apply to you.
2) If you are religious and you believe natural selection is a cause of biological change or plays a causal role in the trajectory of evolution.
3) If you are religious and stab yourself to try an prove a point.
4) If you are religious and think by suddenly giving all your possession to the poor when you think it is the end of the world you will suddenly be a better person.

Singular: The religiot stabbed himself to try and show religion is true.

Plural: A group of religiots sold all their possessions and gave it to the poor because they thought the world is going to end soon.

A term commonly used by angry grown ass adults with blue hair who are still mad at their parents for making them go to Sunday school instead of letting them sleep all day.
