tinkerbell hack

A hacking method by which an attacker obtains the password to a victim's account by answering the victim's security question (used to reveal the victim's password to himself in the event he forgets it), typically with information that is publicly available. So named because Paris Hilton's T-mobile account was compromised in this manner, as the attacker was able to answer her security question, "What is the name of your pet?" (Tinkerbell). Sarah Palin's Yahoo account was also compromised in this manner.

Don't answer security questions truthfully, as you could become the victim of a tinkerbell hack.

A computer professional that believes and uses all fixes found on Google for any computer problem, without any thought on the consequences.

Our tech guy completely messed up my computer. He made a change he found online, and deleted something he shouldn't have. What a Google hack.

Hack the Gibson

A term used by married computer geeks to describe masturbation.
Originally taken from the film 'Hackers' in which a supposed hacker obtains vital information while hacking the garbage file on a 'Gibson' supercomputer.
Extrapolated from its original meaning, due to the fact that most married computer geeks hide their porn stash in seemingly innocuous locations on their hard drives -such as fake, or garbage files- to prevent detection from their less computer literate spouses.

Geek1: "Dude, want to come over and watch the new episodes of Doctor Who?"

Geek2: "Nah, man -the wife's out of town for the weekend... I'm going to stay home and 'Hack the Gibson'...."
