A person specializing in hard programming languages, such as C++ or C#. Not to be confused with cracker, which is a person who intentionally breaks into other computers and destroys data.

A large meeting of computer-enthusiasts held for the specific purpose of hacking a website or other technology.

My friends and I held a hackathon last night for the latest game system. Sorry to say, we couldn't find a way to hack its software.

1. Something one does when one is fed up with the corporate machine / the establishment/ the man raping the world.

One may Hack the System by:
1. Hitting random keys on the keyboard for an extended period of time
2.Typing in "hack the system" anywhere on a computer
3. Pretending to be doing something on the computer during a montage

Dude, I totally brought down the establishment when I was hacking the system last night.

An anarchist of sorts. These people believe information should be totally undisclosed and free. Authorities do not like this idea. These peoples favorite insults include "lamer" and "noob}" They will program their own apps or hack other apps to learn how they work. They have strong curiousities imaginations and a VERY srong will to learn. Each one has their own handle or nickname (i.e. Slice or Shank) They have a fear of having their front doors broken so they only trust the info they gather with the people they would trust with their lives.

Will you teach me to be elite Mr. Hacker?
