BK bonus ring

The random onion ring sometimes included in your order of BK french fries. It's kinda cool and kinda repulsive at the same time. Apparently, two completely separate receptacles for the fried side items is too lofty a concept for the King.

Chris: "Check it out! I got a BK bonus ring in my fries when we went through the drive thru!"

Smitty: "Look! I got a BK bonus fry in my onion rings!"

James: "BK sucks. Let's go to Chipotle."

Ring Around The Rosey

1. A classic Nursery Rhyme always sung in preschools, day cares, and kindergarten classes all over.
2. One of the most gothic songs ever.

Although never confirmed, this seemingly harmless nursery rhyme is believed by many people to refer to the Black Plague in Europe during the Middle Ages. It seems quite strange, and even a little scary for 5 year old kids to be singing to this song.

Here's a breakdown of the song:

Ring Around the Rosey(victims of the plague would usually have a red, swollen ring around their eyes)

A pocket full of posies(people would carry flowers in their pockets to cover the lingering smell of death, and some people even thought they would ward off the disease)

Ashes, Ashes(this refers to the fact that they would take dead bodies and people suffering from the disease, throw them in pits, and burn their bodies to slow down the spread of the disease)

We all fall down(basically this means death)

Ring around the Rosey.
A pocket full of posies.
Ashes, Ashes.
We all fall down.

The thought of innocent children singing this song in their nursery schools is pretty bone chilling.

racing for pink slips

The ultimate bet in terms of personal confidence in an illegal Street race or the like. Two racers put their cars on the line by offering their registration slips as winnings. The winner of the resulting race wins the opponents car for good. This is exhibited in some of the Fast and Furious movies.

Friend 1 "hey man what's up?"

Friend 2 "I just won me a new car last night, racing for pink slips."

Friend 1 "Wow, you're brave, putting your car up like that.

Friend 1" well I wanted that car man.

Tearing the ring out of it

When someone persists with an activity long after it's lost its merit or factor of amusement for others. You know the sort of people, they hang around long after a party has ended, use the same joke over and over again. They'll continue doing their thing no matter how tedious it becomes for those around them.
