Parents

the reason that the teenage years are a living hell. they're only goal in life is to make sure you dont have one. also, to make sure you're childhood is worse than theirs was. and they never have good reasons to back their arguement up.
Me-can i go out with my friends?
Mother-no
Me-why not?
Mother-Because.
*like thats an actual answer.*

parents

1. a pair of people (typically a man and woman, can be a woman and woman or man and man) that brought you up in this world just so they can bring you down.

2. people that will go out of their way to make sure your childhood is worse then theirs was.

3. people that don't know how to argue for their lives and think they can use their ''authority'' as an excuse for their lack of comebacks.

4. the base of many jokes made among the society of 25-and-under people.

5. people that claim you will thank them for the tortures they practice on you one day, when in reality you do nothing but thank the lord that you are finally free from them.

6. people that try to control your style, wardrobe, personality, look, friends, love life, music tastes, and opinions in general just because THEY don't like it. when really, it's not their body or life. they try to brain wash their children into thinking this is okay, but it's not. don't fall for it kids. your parents are the wrong ones, not you. just be yourself!

7. people that set the expectations for you unreasonably high, then (attempt to) punish you when you don't follow them.

8. people that set so many rules its impossible to follow them all, so when you don't you get punished.

9. people that don't trust you for absolutely no reason, and when you ask why, they just say "because'' due to their inferior arguing skills (see definition #3)

10. people that expect you to love them unconditionally, which is truly ridiculous because other then give you a house to live in, they do nothing to deserve your love. they also claim to love you, but don't listen to them. it's all lies.

11. people that you cannot trust because everything you tell them, they will go around and tell their friends at work or at the hair salon. you might think you can tell your mom about your crush at school, but she most definitely will be at lunch with her friends telling all her friends about it.

12. people that change the plans on the last second for no reason, and make you look bad in front of your friends.

13. the number one reason for teenage suicide in america (look it up).

14. people that will go to amazing lengths to ruin your childhood. don't listen to these people, don't let them hurt you, don't let them get to you. just rough through this time, because it's only a couple years. once your 18, your parents' torturing will be long behind you and you can continue with your life.

on rare occasions, you have the asian mother who is somewhat whitewashed and doesnt giv a fuck cuz she has her perfect son to worry about instead of paying attention ot her dumbass daughter. but the father fits the stereotypes 110% of the time.

grade scale:
A- acceptable
B- bullshit
C- cunt
D- death
F- there is no such thing

SAT:
2400- well no one gets this score
2300- brags about you to other asian parents
2200- expected
2100- why didnt you get a 2200?
2000- maybe a U.C.
1900- okay
1800- alright
1700- acceptable
1600- fail
anything below 1600 and you will be disowned and promised to be kicked out the day you turn 18

Asian Parents

Asian parents hold extremely high expectation for their children. To name a few, they sign their kids up for math tutoring sessions at an early age, they force their kids to pick up instruments (probably the piano or the violin), and finally, they demand perfection in the academic field. Furthermore, they are definitely going to sign their children up for ACT and SAT prep before the kids enter high school. If their child perform "poorly" (98 percentile) on a standardized test, Asian parents will make sure that they retake the test, and will also tell their child that they will never succeed because of one test. Asian parents also have a hatred towards electronics. If they are generous, they will allow their children to play up to 15 minutes per week, but nothing else. They also like to confiscate electronics if their kids performs "poorly" (A-) on a test. They will blame the electronic for the poor grade. If their kid were to get a 99 on a test, the it was the computer's fault. Finally, Asian parents completely disregard their children's feelings. By holding their children to such high expectations, the child often feels like a failure because he got an A instead of an A+. When confronted by their kids, Asian parents will claim that they "know better" because they are adults. An Asian kid will often see his American friend having a great time on Spring break, but will never get to know what it's like because of their parents.
Asian parents: Son, you have only studied the ACT for 2 hours and have only made 4 posters for science fair. Study more or you will work in McDonald's for the rest of your life!
Kid: It's Winter break. Chill.
Asian parents: Define the word "break."
Kid: Fuck
Asian parents: *beat child for swearing* There is no break for you! You need to catch up!
Kid: I'm already 4 years ahead!
Asian parents: NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
