A term describing a song (usually electronic dance music) that has a really phat pumping beat.

A hybrid of "fat beats", where fat becomes obese. So obese + beats = obeats.

"This electro song has a really deep bass rhythm. I just can't help but dance to this!"

"Yeah, shit's obeats."
