Plus or Minus Man

Plus or Minus Man is a Calculus superhero. He has the power to make square roots either positive or negative (plus or minus).

His other powers include the Integration Inferno, Derivation Disaster, and the dreaded, cataclysmic L'Hopital Derivation.

Person 1: "Amg, this Calculus test is so hard...negative one-half are you freaking kidding me??!!!"

Person 2: "Never fear, Plus or Minus Man will be here!! He will integrate and derive everything for us!!"

Derived from the half-your-age-plus-seven rule. Used to define the oldest that a romantic interest can be before the relationship is considered indecent. This rule is considered more accurate than the your-age-plus-half-your-age-minus-seven rule, which in some cases conflicts with the half-your-age-plus-seven rule.

Jackie and Dan were mutually attracted, but Jackie waited until she turned 21 to make a move on the 28-year-old Dan, thereby making it acceptable under the your-age-minus-seven-times-two rule.

A Relationship where the two individuals like each other a lot and trust each other to the death but won't be come closer than a handshake, or at most a hug in really bad times.
