The white slave master would "honk" a horn when it was time for the slaves to work in the fields. The slaves would then call the slave master a "honkey"

Get the honkylicious mug.A usually derogatory phrase from Northern Ireland. Also spelt ‘hoker’. A hoaker is someone who roots around in a place where they shouldn’t be rummaging, e.g. under someone’s bed, in someone’s bag or bins etc.
