urban flashlight

A phrase used in place of cell phone (or other handheld electronic device with a screen) when it is used to light one's way in the dark, most commonly illuminating the immediate area around one's feet.

Person 1: I can't see anything, it's so dark I feel like I'm gonna trip and fall.

Person 2: Well just whip out the ol' urban flashlight.

Flashfight

Using torches/flashlights as a weapon and fighting. It is not dissimilar to fencing/sword fighting, but is more common amongst guards or nighttime tourists.
