baller on a budget

A phrase used as a noun overall. An individual who seemlessly combines the social attributes of a "baller" (one who demonstrates a dispensable income at social gatherings which automatically lead to popularity and desirability with both the male and female members of any given social group in any given social situation) and a budget-minded individual who aspires to achieve a similar level of popularity and desirability without having a dispensable income on hand.

Have you ever seen a Pontial Fiero (1984-1988) with a Lamborghini body kit? From 100' away, it looks like a Lamborghini, but when it drives by, it sure sounds like a US Mail Delivery Van. That's a baller on a budget! ;-)

Have you ever seen people rock a 1ct. cubic-zirconia earring? That right there is a baller on a budget.

Have you ever seen a car with a front mount "interfooler" instead of an "intercooler"?

If you live on the "fringes" of Beverly Hills, and you still tell people you live in Beverly Hills, but it's really just normal Los Angeles -- guess what, you're a baller on a budget!

False Ballerhood

The False Ballerhood is a society of somewhat well-off young adults who spend money in a way that would cause the casual observer to assume that they are ballin' hard. In reality, they still live with their parents and don't understand real world finance.

Person 1: Did you hear Greg is having his party at some super ritzy club? He's getting bottle service and everything.
Person 2: Does he even have a job yet? I guess it's just another set of parents financing The False Ballerhood...

straight baller

1. The state of mind of going all out, not worrying about anything. Will not stop acting and spending like the world will end tomorrow.

2. Taking black cars and limos in New York City and Miami.

3. The act of not taking any credit when going all out.

EX:

1. Wow, George and Jules are straight ballers by buying tickets and going to Miami Heat home game opener seconds before it starts, then dropping real dough at Mansion the Club.

2. By taking a limo from Manhattan to JFK, they showed true acts of straight ballers.

3. When they said, "no photos please" after a heroic act, the striaght ballers came out of them.
