tough one

1. A term that is suitable only for situations that result in a loss or an unexpected turn for the worse
2. At first, "tough one" was used in a derogatory manner. However, with the passing of time, the term has been used in a lighter, more colloquial usage

Coach: Tough one Feremy
Feremy (the athlete): I know Coach. I think I could have gotten him. That was a tough one
Coach: You know, I'd highly encourage you to do a little more with the backhand. If you do, you can say goodbye to the tough ones.

what someone would say after telling a joke or other humorous anecdote, and then getting deadpan looks and no verbal acknowledgement from the people listening.

"Yeah, so I heard Dave got a pet cat, oh well, probably the closest thing to pussy he'll ever have in his place, huh guys? hahaha!"

(silence and blank stares from everyone)

"Geez...! Tough crowd, man....tough crowd!!"

Tougat

A combination of the words "tough" and "fat, Tougat refers to obese people (mainly highschool boys) who actually think they are a complete badass when in fact, they are actually just fat.

Being fat is okay as long as you don't act like you are some type of muscular God.

Pronounced: toe-gats

Man, Brendan and Trevor are acting like Tougats. They act so tough yet they are circular.

When you are busting to go to the toilet and your poop 💩 decides to pop out slightly.

Tortuguita is a diminutive of tortuga. Tortuga is the Spanish word for a turtle or tortoise.
