SEGA Dreamcast

A console system released by SEGA.
It had enormous potential but was let down by a lack of games and first-party support. Still popular in some circles, the Dreamcast is often compared to the Saturn, an earlier console that lost to the Playstation, because even though it had more potential, it was difficult to code for.

Sega Master System II

The second version of the Sega Master System. It had games like alex the kid, my hero, sonic and other great games. It also had a slot where you could put a thin card version of a game permenetly into it, so you could play that perticular game when no cartridge was inserted in the slot. It was proberly the least heard about system, at least from my perspective anyway.

sega cd

Sega CD is a gaming console add-on which was released in late 1992. You must have a Sega Genesis to use it. While most of the games for Sega CD were lackluster to horrible, there are about 10-15 games which are *awesome*, many unavailable on any other console. Sonic CD, Lunar 1 & 2, Silpheed, Vay, Shining Force CD and Samurai Showdown are examples of its exceptional games. While only occasionally improving the graphics drastically over Sega Genesis, music was almost always improved tenfold. Many people are surprised to hear the Sega CD sold well over 5 million units worldwide and has over 200 games.
