Dos Palos

A really small town in the heart of California where everyone is related to eachother by blood or marrige. Football is huge here and so is gossip. A fair comes around every summer just before school starts, it has 2 rides. This is a time where all the recently High School graduated females bring their new born babies to show off to the incomming seniors and community. It's very hard to pick up your bags and continue your life else where. About 15% of the graduated students move out of the the central valley and then 5% of that actually come back to build their family here. Theres one bar in town, which is the thing to do for the 40 and up. Then theres "The River" for the 25 and under. The cops here are unfortunately crooked and the teachers might as well not have their degrees. It's all about who you know to get any job here.
Guy1: Whats there to do here in Dos Palos?

Guy2: We can go get mojos and watch a movie if the theater happens to be open today. Or just hang out in front of the doughnut shop or the pizza factory. Or ride around town in my dads lifted truck listening to country music.

Guy1: WTF I moved here from the bay area for this?!!

Guy2: Just wait, a girl will crawl up to you and then you guys will have babies you'll work at some factory while she goes to school online and both of you guys will show up to the summer fair with your new born and have arguments every week and throw house parties for high school kids.

Guy1: Fuck you that'll never happen

Palossand

Palossand is just a Sandygast that is now a Sandcastle

Palossand controls adults to make them build it a bigger sand castle, which provides it a disguise and defense. However, Palossand is able to replenish any sand it loses on its own but it's too busy controlling others. The shovel on its head rotates when Palossand searches for prey and is believed to function as radar. It enjoys the life force of living things. By creating a sandy vortex, it will capture small things and absorbing their life force.
Buried beneath every Palossand are masses of dried-up bones from those whose soul it has drained.

Goose Papoose

The most efficient method to capture a Goose whose leg has been ensnared by fishing line in an attempt to remove debris. Using only whit, athleticism, and a blanket, a passing animal lover might wrap a blanket around the injured creature, there by preventing injury to the beast during the removal of the foreign object and saving the Goose's leg.

Side note: while the Goose in distress might be calmed by this method, a possible side effect could be massive incontinence.

Palos Verdes

This community is wealthy and has a top rating for the public schools, but it is still one of the most bigoted and elitist communities ever. The people there act like they are against racism and care so much about black people, yet one of their high schools had years of racial incidents. The only reason why the high schools rank so well although there is a lot of work is because the parents pay for the best tutors for their kids. Most of the teachers don't contribute shit for either of the school's top rankings. And yet the school system puts so little value into mental health and more into the test scores they can show off to the rest of the country!

There is literally nothing to do here. All the teens like to do here is fight, party, and smoke and then just jump on social media when they get home, yet they still exclude people. This community is not like the rest of LA county. It's not diverse, there is very little to do, and it is it's own community. You'll have an easier time getting to know the Mexicans that don't even live there but commute there from other areas to do manual labor for residents and the schools there.
I grew up and lived in Palos Verdes. It was effortlessly easy making friends with people who worked for the residents there but it took more effort to make friends with my classmates. There was nothing to do but be depressed cause school was too hard and I wasn't included in the social scene.
