Pro-Melanated

Pro-Melanated is about uplifting and empowering the melanated brown Americans on a spiritual, financial and psychological scale, but some people might disagree with me on that statement and that’s part of the problem.

Melanated people want to do right thing for the melanated American community but they think that if you don’t view pro- melanated mindsets in the exact same monologue they do then all of a sudden you are not “awakened.” I swear it’s like some of them want to make being pro-melanated thinking a damn competition. I’ve had people try to test me with that stuff a few times. If I didn’t know the same Truth as them, all of a sudden I wasn’t “awakened” enough.

Meranda

A female, usually with excessive tattoos and a substance abuse problem. She will do anything to get her fix, including lying to and stealing from friends and family. A Meranda is an unusual case because she is intelligent but really messed up.

I can't believe my sister just stole $55.00 dollars out of my wallet and claims that I "must have lost it somewhere."

Merenade

Merenade is a combonation of the two words "merinate" and "serenade." Basically it is when someone sings to their food. Some believe that this softens it up and makes it more dilectible. Others think that the food doesn't get softer, the jaw muscles just get warmed up from the singing so the food seems softer, when in fact the jaw is stronger and readier to eat it.

*As Forrest prepares to eat his muffin he starts to sing* "DJ got me fallin in love again!!!"

Lauren: "Forrest, stop singing to your muffin! You're an idiot!"
Forrest: *stops singing for a second* "I'm marenading it!"
Lauren: *gets annoyed* "do you mean serenade?"
Forrest: "No, merenade"

Lauren: "FORREST, YOU'RE RETARDED!"
