2. The feeling of bewildered uncertainty during this event.

My last piece of toilet paper I used came up clean, but when I stood up, I felt a lingerturd go into the toilet.

Lingering Hug

Begins as either a bear hug or a squeeze hug, but when the end of it is initiated, the non-initiating party waits a second longer and then slowly disengages, but allows their hand to sweep down the person's back and then lets go at the waist.

A lingering hug is awesome to witness or experience, if both parties are mutually attracted to one another, but terribly awkward if one or more parties is not interested.

Ex girlfriend/boyfriend that will not accept the break-up. Although they did not have any children together, they cling to the family just to know about you or be around you and have some type of belonging with your surroundings.

"Girl, why did yall break-up?" "His lingering ex girlfriend. She's everywhere we go. His mom's house, his sister's house, all the family get togethers, ect."

Finger It and Linger It

Much like the term "Hit It and Quit it," but not to the extent of having sex, but around the extent of just fingering. You commit the act, and then leave the woman to "linger" or stay, where they belong... most likely away from you.
